| Schoolcraft College defeated Alpena Community College 10-4 on Saturday afternoon. |
The Schoolcraft College Ocelots defeated the Alpena Community College Lumberjacks 10-4 on Saturday afternoon. The Ocelots also defeated the Lumberjacks 6-3 on Friday night. Both games were played at the Redford Ice Arena located at 12400 Beech Daly Road, in Redford. 2017-2018 marks the return of the ice hockey program at Alpena Community College. The Schoolcraft College hockey program is in its second year of existence.
The Schoolcraft College, and Alpena Community College hockey teams both compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association). The Schoolcraft College Ocelots currently have an overall record of 6-6. The Alpena Community College Lumberjacks currently have an overall record of 1-8.
The Lumberjacks only dressed 9 players for the weekend series against Schoolcraft College. #11 Vince Glenn scored 4 goals for the Ocelots on Saturday afternoon.
