On Saturday, December 16th, the Schoolcraft College Ocelots defeated the Western Michigan University Stallions 11-5. Both teams compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association). Saturday night's game was played at the Redford Ice Arena located at 12400 Beech Daly Road, in Redford. The Schoolcraft College hockey team currently has an overall record of 9-10-1 (1 overtime loss). The Western Michigan University Stallions currently have an overall record of 1-13-1 (1 tie). Western Michigan University also fields an ACHA Division 1 hockey team, and a NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division I hockey team.
