Dr. Pocket In Redford





Dr. Pocket performed last night in Redford as part of the free Summer Concert Series.

Indians 4-1 Marlins





On Wednesday, July12th, the Indians defeated the Marlins 4-1.











     On Wednesday, July 12th, the Indians defeated the Marlins 4-1.  Both teams compete in the Over 55 (Harmon) Division of the Detroit MSBL (Men's Senior Baseball League).  Wednesday night's game was played at Handy Park located at 12121 Hemingway, in Redford.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of last Wednesday night's Detroit MSBL showdown.  Click on the link below for more information about the Detroit MSBL.
     The Indians are currently in 6th place in the Over 55 (Harmon) Division of the Detroit MSBL standings with an overall record of 4-5.  The Indians are currently 3.5 games out of 1st place.  The Marlins are currently in 5th place in the Over 55 (Harmon) Division of the Detroit MSBL standings with an overall record of 5-4.  The Marlins are currently 2.5 games out of 1st place.  There are 8 teams competing in the Over 55 (Harmon) Division of the Detroit MSBL this season.

#1 Steve Lezotte stepped up to the plate for the Indians.  Lezotte has played for the Indians since the 2015 season.






#24 James Hopson has played for the Indians since the 2016 season.  Hopson has a career batting average of .500.

-  The Detroit MSBL also features an Over 18 (Esler) Division, an Over 35 (Slusser) Division, an Over 45 (Hughes) Division, and an Over 65 (Custard) Division.



-  The Detroit MSBL was established in 1988.



-  The Tribe are currently in 1st place in the Over 55 (Harmon) Division of the Detroit MSBL with an overall record of 7-1.  



-  #1 Steve Lezotte (Indians) played for the Over 35 Red Sox from 2005-2007.  Lezotte also played for the Over 45 Red Sox in 2007.



-  The Tigers are scheduled to play the Indians at Handy Park (6:00 p.m.) on Monday, July 24th, 2017.
