The Ann Arbor Rec & Ed (Recreation and Education) adult baseball Summer League kicks off their 2017 season later tonight in Ann Arbor. League games will be played at Vets #5 (Veterans Memorial Park), and West Park #2. Vets #5 is located on the corner of Maple Road, and Dexter Road, in Ann Arbor. The Ann Arbor Rec & Ed adult baseball Summer League is divided into two leagues known as the American League, and the National League. The seven American League teams are the Coyotes, the Dodgers, the Ann Arbor A's, the A2 Yellow Jackets, American Legion Post #46, Ann Arbor VFW, and Dexter. The seven teams competing in the National League are the Ann Arbor Angels, the Astros, the Ann Arbor A's, the Thundercats, the Wolfpack, the Mustangs, and Cubs AC. All Ann Arbor Rec & Ed adult baseball Summer League teams use wood bats.
