On Saturday, October 21st, the Concordia University Cardinals outlasted the Marian University Knights 39-36. The Marian University Knights missed a game tying, chip shot field goal as time expired. The Concordia University Cardinals, and the Marian University Knights are both NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs, and both schools compete against each other in the MSFA (Mid-States Football Association).
