Prowlers: Life After Mahfouz

The Port Huron Prowlers are adjusting to life in the FHL (Federal Hockey League) without Ahmed Mahfouz.  Mahfouz currently plays for the Cornwall Nationals, but the 28 year old goal scorer skated for the Port Huron Prowlers during the 2015-2016 season, and the 2016-2017 season.  The Prowlers won the Commissioner's Cup (FHL Championship) in 2016.
Ahmed Mahfouz has played in the FHL Playoffs every season since the league began in 2010.  Mahfouz has lead the league in scoring 4 times, and he's hoisted the Commissioner's Cup 3 times.  Ahmed Mahfouz has recorded 205 goals, and 394 assists in 293 FHL regular season games played.
The Port Huron Prowlers are currently tied for last place in the FHL standings with 0 points, and an overall record of 0-2.  The Cornwall Nationals are currently in 3rd place in the FHL standings with 4 points, and an overall record of 1-0-1 (1 overtime loss).  #19 Ahmed Mahfouz currently has 3 goals, and 3 assists in 2 games played.  The 2017-2018 FHL season features 6 teams.
