Ferris State 5-1 Schoolcraft





On Saturday, December 2nd, the Ferris State University hockey team defeated Schoolcraft College 5-1.











     On Saturday, December 2nd, the Ferris State University hockey team defeated the Schoolcraft College Ocelots 5-1.  The Ferris State University Dawgs also earned a 7-4 victory over the Ocelots on Friday, December 1st.  Both games were played at the Redford Ice Arena located at 12400 Beech Daly Road, in Redford.
     Ferris State University, and Schoolcraft College both compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association).  The Ferris State University Dawgs currently have an overall record of 13-7-1 (1 tie).  The Schoolcraft College Ocelots currently have a overall record of 6-9-1 (1 overtime loss).  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of Saturday's college hockey showdown.  Click on the links below for more information about Schoolcraft College, The Ferris State University club hockey team, or the ACHA.

-  Dan Cosgrove is the Head Coach of the Ferris State University ACHA hockey team.



-  Rob Lindsay is the Head Coach of the Schoolcraft College hockey team.      



-  Schoolcraft College finished the 2016-2017 ACHA season with an overall record of 19-7-1 (1 overtime loss).



-  Ferris State University finished the 2016-2017 ACHA season with an overall record of 4-25-1 (1 overtime loss).

UofM-D 4-1 Aquinas





On Friday, December 1st, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Aquinas College Saints 4-1.











     On Friday, December 1st, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Aquinas College Saints 4-1.  The Wolverines also earned a road victory against the Saints on Saturday night by a score of 5-1.  Both schools are NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs, and both teams compete against each other in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of Friday night's showdown.  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the WHAC.

-  #91 Tyler Groat, #7 Justin Dunn, #37 Jared Dedenbach, and #14 Nic Laburn each scored goals for the Wolverines on Friday night.  



-  #22 Zach Lloyd scored 1 goal for the Saints on Friday night.  



-  Hockey:  The Wolverines are 4-0 this season in WHAC competition.    



-  The Aquinas College Saints won the 2017 ACHA Division 3 National Championship.
