Lakers 4-3 Wolverines OT

On Friday, December 8th, the Grand Valley State University Lakers defeated the University of Michigan Wolverines 4-3.

     On Friday, December 8th, the Grand Valley State University Lakers defeated the University of Michigan Wolverines 4-3 in overtime.  Both teams compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association).  Friday night's game was played at Yost Ice Arena located at 1000 S State Street, in Ann Arbor.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of Friday night's game.  Click on the link below for more information about the ACHA.
     The Grand Valley State University Lakers currently have an overall record of 22-2.  The Lakers also field an ACHA Division 2 team.  The University of Michigan Wolverines currently have an overall record of 8-5-3-2 (3 ties, and 2 overtime losses).  The Wolverines also field an ACHA Division 2 hockey team, and a NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division I hockey team.  Click on the links below for more information about the Lakers ACHA hockey program, or the Wolverines ACHA Division 3 hockey team.

-  #5 Mark Janiga scored the game winning goal for the Lakers on Friday night.



-  #5 Mark Janiga also scored in the 2nd period for the Lakers on Friday night.



-  Goalie #1 Jack Lindsay made 27 saves for the Lakers on Friday night.



-  Goalie #31 Alex Chen made 17 saves for the Wolverines on Friday night.

Behind the Scenes - Zweli & Noks

Our day kicked off in Umlazi with a nice strong coffee.

For some weird reason people like to see the photographer and to see him in action on the day. So here's a heap of shots taken by my second shooter Stephen Pilbrough. I promise we got more shots of the couple then we did of me. We ended up with over 3700 images to sieve through and process.

The goal behind posting these behind the scenes images is in the hopes to wet your appetite for the grand blog post of Zweli and Noks' wedding day.  There are a lot of incredible images to look forward to. A-lot. I also thought it would also be good to show you just how much fun we have when we shoot.
